Update 22/08/2019: There have been recent changes to Macquarie Online which have increased the security around the generation of esi credentials.

A PDF version of these instructions can also be downloaded here:

If you utilise Macquarie Cash Management, Wrap or Online Trading Accounts or for your clients, you can provide Intello with the esi credentials to enable us to pull through transaction data for Macquarie CMAs (wraps and online trading also) where you are the administrator and you have provided us with the account numbers.

Please note: If you already have a data feed active using Macquarie esi keys in another financial planning software (Coin, Xplan etc) and you follow the instructions below, you will also need to update the esi keys in those programs also.

Alternatively you can provide the esi keys that are already saved in those programs to us.

If you do not wish to provide the esi keys, then you will be required to have each and every client sign a separate authority form.

Macquarie Cash esi Keys Generation

Overview

This page shows advisers how to generate their esi keys on the Macquarie website.

Process

Step 1 - Log on to your.clients at: https://online.macquarie.com.au/adviseronline/#/login

In Adviser Online, select the profile icon from the right side of the top menu, then esi details:

Step 2 - Select Generate new code

Step 3 - Select Send

Macquarie will send a 6 digit code to the mobile phone registered to the Macquarie Access Code that has been used to login.

To update the mobile number which receives the SMS, the adviser will need to contact Macquarie on 1800 808 508.

It is NOT possible to receive the confirmation code via email or other methods.

Step 4 - . Enter the secure code received by SMS, then select Submit.

Step 5 - You will be issued with your esi authentication code and authentication password:

Copy and paste your authentication code and password into Macquarie esi Update form under Online Forms in the Intello Portal:

Important Note:

As part of Macquarie's security policy, esi keys only last for 12 months; therefore you will need to regenerate these keys each year. This process is completed in the same way as submitting the esi keys for the first time. The Feeds Administrator will be notified by email when they are due to expire.

New clients added to the adviser's your.clients access will automatically be added to the data feed.
