When a client changes their address and they have an SMSF, there are multiple places we need to update it:
Our internal accounting and CRM systems (including the Portal)
ATO
ASIC for trustee companies
To request a change of client details (including address changes) please complete the 'Change of SMSF Details' form available via our Advisor Portal under Online Forms:
Please do not email us a change of address request.
The online form triggers important workflows which ensure all relevant Government departments including ASIC and the ATO are notified.
We will not be held liable for any fines or penalties resulting from a change of address request made via email.
Please note that the addresses you will see online via our Portal will NOT instantly update once you submit the form. It will take approximately two business days for the changes to be processed through all applicable systems.
