This is an overview of the automatic and manual email notifications sent from the Intello Portal. Can email notifications be turned off?

Automatic email notifications - new Tasks

Email notifications are automatically triggered where the following types of Tasks are newly created:

  • Query tasks

  • Tax Payment tasks

  • Data Feed Authority tasks

  • Account Finalisation tasks

  • Strategic Items tasks

Email notifications - additional information required

In addition, where you respond to a Task (status = "Responded To") and someone from the Intello team reviews your response and seeks further information or documentation, the Task will again require action and this will also trigger an email notification.

In addition to email notifications you also will see a notification bubble within the Portal.

Who receives the email notifications?

By default the email notification for a specific Task will be sent to the user from your business who is set as the default recipient under the Task Allocation Rules:

The nominated user can be updated at either the client or business level.

How do I update the default team members for specific clients or Task type?

Any user who is an Admin or 'Power User' for your business has the ability to update / override the default Task notification rules that have been set. More information on this capability here: Admin or 'Power-User' functionality on the Intello Adviser Portal

If you would like to update your default Task Allocation Rules in bulk, please email admin@intello.com.au and we will send you a spreadsheet with all your current allocations for you to update and return to us to upload in bulk.

Notification when tasks are re-assigned to another user

When a Task is re-assigned to another user within you business, they will receive an email notification informing them.

This functionality is useful for businesses where all Tasks are received by a single individual user and assigned out manually depending on the nature / details of the Task.

Can customised notifications be set up?

Yes.  At this stage we are able to set up custom notifications for your business based on on the following criteria:

  • Task status change (Action Required > Responded To > Completed)

  • Job state change (Info Requested, Queries Sent, Review, Audit, Completion etc.)

Custom email notifications can be set up to be sent to a specific person if required.

Can email notifications be turned off?

Not at this stage.  We are currently building functionality that will enable you to turn off your notification emails, or only have in-app notifications (good if you are logging in on a regular basis).

If you are receiving email notifications that should be going to another person in your team, please contact us and we will work with you to ensure future notifications are going to the correct person.
